After playing against the best point guard in the league Monday, The Blazers get one of the other great ones tonight. Williams is a total stud, he can score, he can pass, he does everything well for Utah.
Andre Miller on the other hand had a rough night Monday shooting-wise. That was just an aberration though, I expect him to bounce back. But at this point, Deron is the best player by far.

Steve Blake and Rudy Fernandez have steadily regained their strokes from deep which will make this an intriguing match-up at home. I like Rudy in this game, his confidence should be all the way back and he'll drop in a few threes.
We know Ronnie Brewer's MO, he plays D. Wesley Matthews however has been a spark off the bench. He can score at ease, but not tonight. Blazers take this match-up!

Andrei Kirilenko has been all over the place for Utah this year. From starter to reserve, from scorer to rebounder. It's never clear what he's going to do in a game. I think he brings a lot of nice pieces, but not enough.
I saw everything I needed to see from Batum against New Orleans to give him and Martell the nod here. Martell has been great this month, and Nic proved Monday that he is ready to step his game up. Both guys will contribute and win this match-up.

It's sort of embarrassing and disappointing, but LaMarcus Aldridge has no chance against Boozer, let alone Boozer and Millsap. Boozer has been ripping it up this year, especially in January with 19.4 ppg and 11.7 rpg. He is a beast that LA cannot contend with. The hope here is that Aldridge at least draws Carlos out on the jumpers, but either way, this game will come down to this match-up, sorry to say.

One of the toughest match-ups in this game could be here in the post. Or should I say out on the perimeter. If Mehmet Okur decides he wants to shoot threes, he'll have every opportunity. Last season he torched Portland 4 times averaging 18.3 ppg and 7.3 rpg. He's pretty deadly from deep. Our defense has been lacking, for good reason, but it could really be a problem against Utah. I don't like the way this game ends.
