We Need Your Help!

Tonight, I had an e-mail request read on Courtside with Brian Wheeler, Mike Rice & Mike Barrett.  The video below will give you the details on the e-mail and the crew's reaction, but the important thing is that Mr. Rice actually accepted my request.

What I need from our loyal Bust a Bucket fans is a little help.

With our comments section or via the contact button above, we want you to submit questions for the interview with Mike Rice.  We will read through them and pick a few to include in the interview.  Please also include your name as you want it to be said when the question is presented to Mike.  Don't be shy, we need you!

If you prefer to send us an e-mail please do so at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Confucius was putting Bust a Bucket over! And nice work on the clear up of "hybrid celebrity"!

I want to know what he thinks of Travis Outlaw and if it more of a mental thing that holds Travis back. AKA....Is Travis just too stupid to be a dominant player?

I would like to know what he thinks of Bayless.

Is he going to be part of the puzzle? Or is he trade bait?

Also, If he does stick around, is he our answer at PG?

With so many young Blazers coming into their own, how will the Blazers be able to keep the core in tact, who does he think the key players are, and who can we afford to let go? (i love compound questions)

Ok Mike, you are Kevin Pritchard. What do you view as the ideal move the Blazers should make right now? Do they hold face? Or do they trade while they know they have Darius' contract off the books? If you are to acquire a position or player, who/what would you go after and what player or position would you give up? Any trade rumors that you would fully endorse?(does this classify as a compound question? Trim it down as you like)

When Lamarcus gets the ball in the post, he turns to face the basket, starts his dribble and watches for the double team. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but it often seems like LaMarcus is WAITING for the double team so he can kick it out. He seems to kinda dribble it in place and wait, rather than making his move to the basket.
Have you noticed this as well?

With Brandon out, what do you think about starting Bayless instead of Fernandez? That way the 2nd team would be complete and have a better chance to boost effort and score as they usually do.

It seems like it is going to take 50 wins to make the playoffs in the West. Can the Blazers make the playoffs without unloading Raef Lafrentz's expiring contract for some veteran depth?

If you look at the last 3 teams to win an NBA championship or multiple championships: Celtics, Spurs, and Heat--you can see that each one of those teams had a player that opposing fans would call "dirty". But really that player (James Posey, Bruce Bowen, and James Posey again) did the dirty work for the team such as rebouding, defense, and overall scrapping; they didn't necessarily play the game dirty. Who do you envision that player for the Blazers? Current Blazer or any NBA player that is movable.

Why has Travis's skills digressed since last season? When can we get rid of him and who can we get for him? Will you do a shot of Pendleton with me? (Matt, you need to ask this question as if coming from you)
